Rainy Day Blues

M. C. Escher – Puddle 1952

Rainy Day Blues

What’s down is up.
What’s up is down.
I’ve tried to tell you.
Look around!
You never do.
I slam the door.
We walk our ways.
We pass our days.
What’s that … a tear?
No dear … no fear.
A drop of rain.
That’s all.
That’s all.
